Maxx Induction Kit

I'm looking for info on the MAXXFMIS Induction Kit,came out back in 2000.
They were made by Extreme over in America, and one kit was manufactured for the Corolla.
The company selling them had a website,www.maxxfmis.com
but it doesnt seem to work anymore.

Does anyone know any company/website address selling these induction kits??

There similiar in appearance to an intercooler, and sit in front of the valance for direct cold air intake.Extreme claimed it could add an extra 15bhp,would be very interesting to see.

www.jcwhitney.com sells them. I don't know if they work. I would be very cautious concerning hydrolock.

Hydrolock is when the intake gets submerged in water and the engine sucks water through the intake. Well...water isn't compressible - therefore you end up with broken rods when the cylinder tries to compress it.

I'm sorry you didn't find it on there. 2 months ago JC whitney had a sport compact issue with it in there. I remember that they do not always list every item on the website. You may want to call them. I know for sure that they do have them.

That is expensive. why dont you just buy a E.L prototype CAi and modify the stock
box to fit on it to do the same effect!

Seen that one aswell, thats not the Maxxfmis one unfortunately, and that Arospeed model only fits Hondas and Acuras.
Its that type of intake that I'm after though, something mounted in the front of the car, either that or one with a big intake pipe, its mostly for show,so the flashier/bigger,the better
