    Manual Tranny Rattle

For the past month or so my corolla has been making a shimmy/rattling noise from the tranny at higher engine speeds, aka higher tranny speeds. I usually notice it going up hills or passing people. Has anyone else had this issue or can give me some ideas about it. Its a 2000 5 spd manual tranny with 113k mi on it. I don't beat the car up. I think the previous owner did. I've put mostly highway miles on the tranny. Thanks for any help.

have you hit any large bumps lately where your suspension may have bottomed out? if so, check your cv boots and axles. if that's not it, check gear oil.

I haven't hit any large bumps. Only speed bumps and I take my time over them. I'll look into checking the gear oil.
