M5 Trunk Lip for 8th gens, good news

i think this is good news, i hope so
so, i really want the M5 styled trunk lip spoilers for the 8th gens

so i asked the same seller that is selling this:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/M5-S...28795QQtcZphoto

i asked them if it was possible for them to provide the M5 style ones for the 98-02 corollas, and they told me:

    "Hi thejordaninc,

    1. We have a length of spoiler is 48" for a 92 - 94 TOYOTA COROLLA.
    2. We do custom size. If you can provide the width of your rear truck that we can make one for you.

    Thank you for asking,
    gofashionshoppe"

someone measure it or something and let me know
maybe we can start a group buy for it. =D

this is the dimensions for their M3 lip...iono, maybe this helps

thats nice to hear a vendor willing to help provide more aftermarket products and now we need vendors to make replica of the 98-2002 corolla trd lip kits and i just notice that they got 92-94 corolla m5 trunk lip already.

I'll be getting a TRD lip spoiler very soon as well. Yes, it was very difficult to come by one and it will be installed on my car. However, when jcrwzr starts his carbon fiber venture, I will be glad to let him use my spoiler to make a mold. :)

If you don't drill, that sucker is going to fly right off after the tape weakens from the elements.

It still wouldn't hold as well as screws. Even if you decide to remove it later, you can hardly notice the holes.

i think the adhesive should hold it fine, but id like to see exactly where u drilled, like maybe if u can take a pic of it so i can have some idea if i do drill

I am assuming it will like this. DOT had a TRD spoiler. When he sold his car it went back to stock and so it shows that there are two holes where the TRD spoiler was held in place.

I'm cool. My car is famous if you remember my rant about a company using my car to sell a product without informing me about it. It's also used to sell the front lip I have on it, with my permission of course. :D

It's not really bolted on. The lip attaches with double sided tape and the edges are drilled into the existing bumper. I have no idea what the measurements are. I'll have to measure it later.
