Engine lube express?

Hi I have 125,000 miles on my car. I went to lube express once and I don't even remember what I got done there because a friend of a friend hooked it up. Someone told me that it's bad to get a transmission and or fuel system cleaning on a car with that many miles. I have a big feeling that they both need cleaning. What do you guys recommend? And can anyone help me with my check "engine code" thread under engine and transmission? thanks

might be bad on an american car. never had a problem with corollas though or japanese cars in general. cleaned out a 240sx once with a friend. had 230K miles on it though. the car hadnt been cleaned since 80K miles. once we cleaned out all the carbon build up and shit, i guess it also opened up the clogged holes and the engine didnt run as well but other than that experience, never had any problems with cleaning the system. as far as the check engine light, i dont know. I dont have the ODBII code book with me. sorry

I might just get the fuel system cleaning but keep my transmission fluids how they are
