    its not quad turbo its octuple (or whatever the word is for 8) turbo.

    LS-1's are so badass. i wish i had money to put one in an e36.

    Actually he said DOUBLE quad turbo. In mathematical terms that would be 2X4 which would equal 8 :p

    absolutely pointless from any standpoint other than show and "holy shit!" status. you could easily get the same power from one large turbo or two slightly less large turbos. 8 tiny turbos is pointless other than being able to say no one else has ever done it.

    i mean no one has ever made a quad turbo outboard motor either - but why the hell would you?

    Reason behind it? Partly the same as ITB's. Individual air passage to each cylinder. I think hes thinking outside the box. Think about it he'll be running whatever psi with like zero lag, because the turbos are so small. Now he won't have that big of numbers, but its being original. Though its a lot of money to spend to be original.

    Btw there is a quad turbo motor on the way, but it keeps having trouble overheating. By overheating I mean literally melting the stuff around it (wires and the body panels).
