    lowering lift

Is their any way to lower the rpm when lift activates? I think that if their is something like a vtec controller that can adjust that then the XRS will be much quicker. I ask this question because when I race the car and shift, it seems to slow down a bit between shifts until it hits lift again or even raise the rev limt for that matter. Any ideas?

you can control valve timing but not lift (power enterprise Camcon). theres not too many vvtli guys here, try newcelica.org or 9thgencorolla.net.

someone i know with a celica gts actually bounces it off the rev limiter in 1st gear so he lands in lift in 2nd. i'm in no way suggesting that you should do this to your car, as i've also heard from corolla xrs owners that it's possible to land in lift w/o having to do this.

How is that possible? I've quick shifted and power shifted. How else can you stay in lift?
