    Lowering kits?

Ok, I know this may sound ignorant but im new to cars, and i need some help. Basically I have a corolla ce and Hate that gap. Instead of going for a body kit right away, im thinking about lowering my car first. What is the cheapest way to lower my car? What kit do i need? how much a drop to look good? (I dont want to cut the springs though) Will it look alot better lowered even for a ce?

no "kit", just replace the springs, and get an alignment.

    hotchkis
    tien
    progress
    TRD

    and other "lesser" brands.

most of the good ones can be had for less than 200 bucks, and the install can be done by a competent garage mechanic in an afternoon.

ok im going to get some Tein S Tech spring that I Found on a site. So when i recieve these just take them to my local shop and ask them to put them on? Do I have to tell them anything specific, like how many inches and junk? or are the springs set ? Just want it to be simple as possible.

the springs drop to a set height, hence the need to compare the diffrent brands to get the drop/ride quality your looking for.

actualy what i ment was any shade tree mech can put them in. its not that hard. if you have a shop do it, call arround, shops charge a wide range of prices for spring installs...

i am reasonably mechanoical, and did my own. took most of an afternoon...
