    Looking for Engine Dampers

I need a engine damper for a 1zzfe. I cant find one anywhere. really starting to pissme off. hehe. if anyone knows of anyone who makes some, please let me know. i need something that will last longer than OEM. esp when reving my engine up to 6600rpm constantly.. (or i guess i can drive normally but thats just uncivilized)

didn't know you could get a 1zz to rev that high... unless you're in a celica, then the rev limiter is at 6500. but anyway the only people who make one specifically for the 1zz-fe is weapon-r, and it's pricey - $250. the good news is the only difference i saw between the weapon-r damper and the generic ones are a simple looking mounting plate. they just mounted between the strut tower and some point on the engine. I think it would be safer and much cheaper to go generic and figure out some way to bolt that thing on, it shouldn't be too difficult.

yeah its called screwing around with your ecu. a friend of mine had a those machines where you can adjust the revlimiter so i programmed it high.. probably not good for the engine but oh well.

I'd love to be able to raise my redline another 500RPMs or so.

I actually went on the mr2/spyder forum and someone there recommended a C-one damper. i checked their website, i dont know if they make one yet.. unless their site isnt updated.. $260 though..not including shipping and stuff.. anyone know who sells or has access to c-one parts? it seems c-one has a few stuff available for the 1zzfe so i'm gonna try to see what i can get.. hehehe..
