the 88-97's will fit.... however, the tri-bar that fits those years will not fit the 98+'s

Is one really more effective than the other? I would think the strut-strut bar would be better, as there is a lower possibility of the bar flexing.

Strut to stut stabilizes only between the struts, say you hit somethin and it moved your strut towers to the side a little, they'll both be off by the same but may now be closer or farther from the firewall than should be. Where as with a tri-bar design you are going to have it attached to the firewall, still les flax on the towers and if anything ever happened it would help in strengthening the front end. There would be less movement of both towers in high speed cornering as well, as both towers can stikll flex slightly with a strut bar, the tri-bar will enforce each side along the firewall keeping it even stiffer for you.

If someone makes a tri-bar for the 01-02. Than I'm in. But I've yet to see one.

Wow, are you sure it fits the 98-02 rolla? It not, we have the option of the JIC-Magic front strut bar in aluminum or carbon fiber.
    ALUM: $130
    C/F: $390

If that jdm levin bar fits, I'm getting one!!!

Well I kinda want to go with the JIC magic one too.. I test fit the levin bar on my 96 and it fits very well.. but now that toyotaspeed90 mentioned the true 3point from TRD, I might sell this one and get the trd one.. damn never thought I'll go thru this many strut bars in my life...
