    Long overdue maintenence DONE!

I finally waxed the car. Turtlewax wash. Meguiars 3 step wax. Then Meguiars Gold Class to finish it off.

    Cleaned the interior.

Replaced the drivers side CV driveshaft.
Changed the transaxle oil over to 75-90 synthetic gearl oil. The synthetic will shift easier in the winter and the car has hit 48k mi. and was ready for new oil anyway. I cleaned up all the bearing grease that the CV joint sprayed all over the place...

    ahh...

    thanks all...

I wish I could keep up with cleaning my car. I live on a gravel road, dust kicks up all the time and gets into every little crack.

    $40/mo - Highspeed internet.

    OR

    $40/mo - One car was a week.

I wish I could justify the money on the car!

Uh? (pokes finger in fruity smelling goo... tastes...) Wax? Uh?

    :p

Believe it or not... This is the first car I've owned that actually is deserving of wax! haha... The paint on my 85 cutlass was chalky, and the caravan was just a rock flingin' pot hole smashin' junker with dents and scratches everywhere.

This "wax" thing is new to me. :D

Yes it does... You can pay $10 to wash your car. Drive it home and park it and the back end is covered with dust. Wake up the next morning and find it totally covered in dust from the passing traffic. GRRR! Don't these Alaskans understand what pavement is? In Maryland even the COUNTRY roads are paved. Don't get me started...
