    Living...

What philosophy do you live you life by? What's important to you?
What motivates you to continue persuing your lifestyle?
Are you happy? What is you goal in life?

...just some questions for everyone to repond to if you wish.

I live by putting God first in my life. What's important to me... God, my wife, after that... whatever :) Yes, I'm happy. Goals? Keep doing what I'm doing, spend more time with my wife, go fulltime with my tuning business, etc.

And no, money can't buy happiness.

I'm not too happy, I need a serious girlfriend I can spend my money and time with.
Once I started on something, I have to finish it.
I need to finish school so I can get a better career, therefore making more money = I can comfortably support my future family.

Do unto others as you would want done to you. God is important, being the source of everything I feel I need to have good understanding with God to understand myself and others. My family and friends are important to me. People are important. Spending quality time with people. Helping them. Being truely happy is important.

Reasons to persue life; I love living life, seeing the people that I love and care about. Learning about myself, others and the world. Being creative. Socializing.

I am happy. I've learned that pleasure and happiness are confused easily by most people. They are very different. Happiness isn't just a contentment within the material world, it comes from your soul. Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy pleasure. Pleasure can not fill the void of happiness.

My goal in life is to keep close to God, learn about myself and others, and to be genuinely happy. Material goals are something that anyone can attain with study and hard work. I'll just do something that I really enjoy and I'm sure I'm skilled enough to make my own living the way I want to. I want to finish my house and become a realestate investor in order to live a less constricted lifestyle, to get out of the "rat race".

God and my family go first always..... I just live life one step at a time no rush. Goals in life are most probable to play soccer on pro level... I have a very good chance of making it at that.

My philosophy and goals and values for living could keep me writing for about half an hour here, which is a little more time than I want to spend on it.
See, my views are pretty much: You're going to die one day. everyone does, so enjoy what you got, while you can, and the best that you can. Be with friends and family that make you happy, and even those that don't. Live life, have fun, take a couple spills and pick yourself up.
I try not to judge other people, and usually ignore first impressions. Hell if I judge people like on their first impressions, I wouldnt be hanging out and spending some really great times with some of the most important people in my life.
Another thing I learnt this weekend, or more likely just understood more, is to roll with the punches and don't let it get to you too bad. Chalk it up on the board (of memories) and do what you need to get over it, and get back to my first point. Enjoy what you have and do the best that you can with it.

Money doesnt buy happiness, but it sure does help out in things.

I roll with the punches, takes things day by day, and I dont let much stress me out. I always tell myself that things could be worse, and I know that if I have a problem, things will work out for the best in the long run.

Minus the sarcasm, word. You can have everything in the world and be very, very empty. More money = more worry too.

Money can't buy you happiness, it buys material stuff needed for survival but what happiness can u get when u grow old and alone and shit? there's lots of rich people out there that are old and have no one to spend their last days with that they would spend all that fortune just to spend those days with a loved one... think about it money is just a material not happiness, unless u have no heart.

Money definitely helps -- but it alone is not going to solve all your problems. Chances are, you'll always want more..or be afraid of losing what you have. That fear could make you more unhappy than ever.

I have God and my family, and I'm happy. As of July 20th, I'll be en route to NH -- I do not have a job lined up yet, and we haven't found a house yet either..but it'll all work out -- and I'll tell you..I'm definitely not moving there for the money. I could stay with my current employer and possibly be making six figures in my late 20s..but I'd prefer to have a job that I love, even with a lower salary.

    *shrug*
    That's me...what can I say.

Oh -- I wouldn't be happy 'cuz of the money. ;)

In this world if you want to make alot of money most of the time it requires you to work most of your life. Corporate execs don't make it to their kids soccer games and family dinners enough to make a quality life. Car salespeople have no free time. But they do make good money.

The fact is that if you want to be rich, most of the time people will end up with loads of cash and put their family and friends at a distance. There are ways to make a good living and have time to live your life with love, but it's not common and most people just end up following the cash anyway.
