    Well if your buying generic bulbs, then that'll probably happen. You can try Sylvania Silverstar bulbs, they give u a pretty crisp white light, it looks close to HID. They're a little more expensive though, about 25-30$ a set, but they'll last you at least 6 months. You can buy them pretty much anywhere, walmart, pepboys, etc.

    Buy Mtec Bulbs. They are really good. They are bright and relaible. They are pure white and uses stock wattage, which eliminates the risk of wire harness burning. You can get them on ebay. Search for MTEC 9006/ H3. Good Luck.

    But sometimes the bulbs die so fast is probably due to installation. Since space is sometimes very limited, the bulb might be scratched slightly and shortens the life span of the bulb. Once, I scratched the tip of my right fog light bulb and it burnt out in 3 weeks.

    By the way, the MTEC are made in japan. Very high quality.

    Not to say your totally wrong, but I had 2 sets of Mtec bulbs and they both burned out. One lasted about 10 minutes, and the other about a week. I cleaned them with alcohol before. The first set I received had glue on the bulb, so I had to send it back. I was using the high wattage versions, but I have a wire harness.

    I'll have to check those. But someone told me to chance the fuse, I think thats how you say it in english, of the lights to make them last longer. Is that true. And can someone explain whats HID..??

    If you want your aftermarket lights to last longer.

    Get a relay harness.

    You can ask Stinky (from this board) or me to purchase them.

    PM me for details or Stinky.

    HID = High Intensity Discharge.

    HID headlamps in autos operate exactly the same way as stadium lights. In short, there's no filament. Very high voltage is arced through a gaseous element (Xenon gas) which produces light and heat. The phenomenal brightness is the gas "burning" within the capsule.
