lights pink??

    lights pink??

    I just followed the DIY for the center console lights and painted em blue, two coats, but when i turn em on, they show up a light pinkish hue. Also i lost the left one :x anyone know where to get another? thanks :)

    did you take off the green sleeves off the bulbs, if you dont take those off, they will reflect different colors and not the one that you had intended them to

    yea where can we get replacements besides toyota? did anyone happen to find the bulb number or type?

    I did take off the green sleeves, but they still have that strange hue....maybe i should apply more paint?

    yea u get the pink if the paint didnt stick on. my paint kept melting off. apply like 5 coats to make it heavy. i think that should hold on.

    u have to put on a really thick coat to not let it be pink

    the white plastic obsorbs the color of light and thn only reflect a pinkish color. Just be sure you got a good coat of blue and it should turn out ok.
