    Anyone heard of such a thing as Halogen Infrared Bulbs for cars? they are apparently as bright as 35w HID's. I've heard the term before on another forum but i've never seen the bulbs anywhere. Apparently 2 will run < $100 and it seems like a better choice rather than spending 3 to 400 on a good HID kit again. I really dont care for the color, just the lumens output.

    I've heard of it too. Never tried it tho. But from the numbers, it seems like it produces more lumens than regular halogen bulb but less than HID. $100 for two halogen bulb is kinda expensive imo, you can get a pair of brand new Philips HID bulb for less than a hundred bucks.
