License Plate Lites?

    License Plate Lites?

    Has anyone ever replaced the rear license plate lites? How is it done? The owner's manual warns against trying to avoid damaging the car!?

    1. Open the Trunk 2. Unscrew the inner door lever(yellow) Snap off the black matting. They are just snap pins so be careful. Once that is off you should have clear access to the lights. Reach up, twist and pull them out.

    Right on... Thanks koni9. Have you replaced yours? I wonder if any LED bulb (license, tail or brake lights) could be used at all on the Corolla without blowing fuses?

    i have green LEDs for my rear plate light... no fuses get blown... uber easy to do....
