thats pretty good, they're just preassembled with no resistor needed because there is four in a row, so the voltage drop will go fine across all four. thats what i was thinking of doing, but i just dont know how he got all four in there behind the knobs and into the original bulb sockets, that takes some time, cause its a pain in the a**. the ones behind the gauges are cool but would suck when u're driving during night time because of teh glare

if you get LED's that can handle 3.6V then u're fine with no resistors. or else you would need like a small resistor. my leds handle 2.8-3.8 V, so its fine. dont buy from the ebay auction, i can make that setup for you a lot cheaper if you dont know how to solder (not weld :D :D ) PM me

If intel61 has a better deal on LEDs that can do what I've done and are actually 100% blue, I'd like to get hooked up too!

I think you should put a resistor in there just to be safe. LED voltages change with temperature and as they age so one hot day you might start your car and one of the LEDs in the chain will die causing all four to turn off. It might last for a couple months but I wouldn't trust it for the long run.
