    LED LIGHT HELP!!!!

I am interested in installing some of those LED's into my interior and I'm aware that they usually ocme with no wires and are not cigarette adapter ready or anything like that. The instructions say that you can install them off any wires in your car as long as there is a positive and negative wire going into the light. Because I'm not that savy with wiring and I dont want to screw anything up....HERE'S MY QUESTION.... can i plug in a cigarette light adapter.....strip the end of the wire an extennd a wire to the light and still have it work??? It sounds like a good idea and a great alternative to messing with any pre-existing wires...this way i can easily take them out.....any feedback would be greatly appreciated

The car itself is all negative, so you can wire negative to any screw that touches the frame of the car. I wired mine to the cigarette lighter underneath it. I ran a wire from the positive end of the cigarette lighter to a switch which I drilled into the center console where the cup holders are, and the other end to the lights. That way I can have them on and off when i want to. If you don't know much about electricity, I suggest you get someone who does to do this for you. Its a time consuming process, atlease an hour or more.
