    OK do you think I should shave a widscreen alpine into my dash or get a unit that has a flip up screen?

    Indash screens are usually just that... a screen. The flip up screen models can have a DVD player, CD Player, Radio. That would probably work best for a direct swap.

    yeah the flip out is USUALLY easier to deal with, but if u plan on putting a ps2 in anyways like i am, the indash works just fine :D

    i say indash, i think it looks a lot better, and u can just get the radio moved down to the compartment below it

    Well yea that is what I was going to do. I was thinking about doing something custom for the dash as in moving the deck but I dont know. So I would still have a cd player and with the ps2 I have a dvd and games to work with. The screen is around 600 dollars.
