    Lack of Faith

I was told the oter day by a very knowledgable toyota mechanic that i couldnt get 200hp out of my 1zz-fe without turbo or nitrous. Wheres the faith? Punch it out to 2.0 liters with some careful fuel tuning and a built bottom end and i dont see why i cant have a 200hp of N/A firebreathing corolla ready to kick the crap out of every mustang, civic, and celica. I know this is a bold statement but ive done my research and it is definetly more than just an internet fantasy. I just wanted to share with you the doubts of respected tuner. Hopefully the lack of faith displayed will help motivate you to represent all of us and show everyone what hard work, dedication, and ingenuity can do for a forgotten car/engine.

A little aftermarket support on the top-end would help though

200hp na could be had easily....

now itll cost ya as well... CAI, header, cat back exhaust free flowing
pgood port and polish job on the head valve job new valves and springs and retainers to rev to 8000 or 9000

bore it to 2 liters and increase compression to 12:1 and a pfc and you chould hit it easily... altho you will be poor!

Now if they made an aftermarket camshafts for the 1zz it would be great.
