l.e.d interior?

    l.e.d interior?

    i was just wondering if anyone had converted their 03 corolla cansole lights to l.e.d. i thought i saw someone have it already ! yeah i treid to convert it but the l.e.d i used were to small and blew out ! can anyone help me?

    I was using 5mm LEDs. They didnt blow out, i just wanted to change it.

    what exactly are you talking about with led? The cluster display? Would I be able to do it on a 98 or is it only applicable on 03+

    any incandescant bulb can be replaced with an LED in your car.. size permitting..

    does that answer your question?

    ok well i got my l.e.d to work but its to dim so i guess i have to use a dremal to cut the top to make it brighter. and laz z kay my sn is the same as the one here lol. congrats to member of the month. :)

    Thanks. You dont post there that much, that's why I cant remember you.

    Yea, shaving the LED will make the light shoots wider, but not brighter.

    I though L.E.D was supposed to be one of the brightest lights available...... correct me cause I think I am wrong then lol

    The brighter the LED is, the narrow the angle.

    dang so if i shave it it won' make it that brighter? dang it. so what l.e.d should i used to have it bright as hell! cuz you can't see anything in mine lol!

    What makes you think that shaving them will make them brighter?? It only makes it spread out a little more. (JUST a little more to be exact).

    Nope. I dont life in CA, so I didnt sign up there.

    just get some matrix led from autolumination.com, you'll be happy with the results

    Interior blubs are different. They dont use 194.

    so whats the light bulb types/model # are in the console?
    i only know for sure that the shifter light bulb (*for autos only) is 168
    what about the rest?
