I read that oem springs have a lower bounce number or sometin and if u put after market struts on that the struts will wear out really quick.

If i lower my car it will make me bottem out even more. Plus i got a trd muffler so the tip will scrape on dips and stuff

the tip scrapes only if you don't drive carefully...and you can get Eibach springs that don't drop the car too much.

hell...my Intrax springs have the car at a good height...i don't scrape anything. then again, you have to drive at a slant down certain hills and over speedbumps...but that's nothing major.

by the way...i know nothing about them wearing out your struts more...i know if you lower the car on STOCK struts, they'll wear out...but struts that are meant to handle lowering can be left at stock height with no problem.

I have the Intrax/Tokico drop as well. I only have to be careful around steep driveways and huge speed bumps..it's not at all a problem as a daily driver.

I'm not sure if I ever scraped my tip..maybe once or twice..

ghoztrider, you have it backwards... Putting aftermarket struts on stock springs is fine, but putting aftermarket springs on stock struts will wear our the stock struts... If my lowering springs don't come in soon (been over 8 weeks now since I ordered them), I am cancelling it and putting my Tokico's on my stock springs
