    Kyb agx

    hey guys
quick question. my friend owns a eclipse too and his struts are done. he knows someone that is selling 4 KYB agx (orig price is about $500) used for $150.
he wants to get these because he doesn't ahev the money at the moment.
the problem is that the struts have about 100k miles on em.
i personally think he shouldn't cuz that's a lot of miles. but than again i never had one till 100k so i don't know if they will last long. but than again he doesn't have the money and needs some struts.
what do u guys think? he can still use em for a couple 1000 miles?

I wouldn't do it, but if he's in desperate need for a quick fix, then he can do it. Offer the guy 100 and see what he says and state the high mileage again.

It might last longer than that too if he's lucky. How much time does he need before he can afford to get decent struts?

100k is alot but you gotta worry more about the driving/road condition he went through.
