Hey, I pretty much been fired, its a long story but my boss squeezed all that he could out of me in terms of hooking up his office with computer equpiment and now he downsized me to 2 days a week which he rotates around as he sees fit....

I need a new job, I sent out over 12 resumes to diff positions in NYC and surrounding area.

I have an Associates in Programming and Systems and Bachelors in Computer Systems, know C++ and VB but don't have field expirience, I know networks and got expirience in that I'm going to start some certification courses this comming week (A+ and Net Security)

I need a job... and best ones are found through connections... anyone?

I'm willing to relocate if job is good enuf.

yea it sucks for us computer guys. all those indians anc chinese are getting our jobs

nocpan - start looking at hospitals and universities. they all have their own IT departments, and they all need people.

i applied for canadian citizenship and they rejected my by 3 points!!! supposebly i'm not adaptable (that's what the rejection letter said) despite that I lived in toronto for 5 and a half years finished grade school and highschool there....

but i'm trying again now since i'm married, heard that couples got better chances
