    Knife thread

Anyone collect knives here? I just got one to join my collection which had been dwindling for a while. I misplaced a bunch and it's driving me crazy. Well anyhow, here's my new one.

Cool - looks like a tuning fork.

Used to collect, had a pretty decently sized collection - but got rid of them before we had our kid.

I only hold onto my Leathermans and Victorinox knives for multipurpose. Spyderco for folding knives and KA-BAR for fixed blade. Not really collecting them anymore, they all see use.

    this first.

then go to a range and shoot everything they have. then make friends with stuff the range doesn't have, and shoot what THEY have. THEN make your decision.

    this.

And with guns, it is whatever you are comfortable with. There is good and bad to everything, and no matter what you get people will hate on you for getting it. Glock owners hate the sigma, but it is a fact that the sigma fits better in right and left handers. If you buy from a reputable company there aren't going to be major issues with the gun. It is really hard to go wrong. Just get what you are comfortable with. That being said, a good first gunwill probably be a sigma, glock, revolver, or even a shotgun. Easy to learn, hold, aim, and shoot.

As far as knives go, I only carry the knife on me because I can't carry at school. Im no afficianado of knives, they scare me more than guns haha. I do have a pretty nice sword though. As seen here after I slayed the beast who lived on my couch for 5 months [IMG]

It is the only picture I have of it, and its pretty shitty.
