trd drop in filter is overpriced so i wouldnt bother buying it and k&n all the way...for exhaust idk know whats out there yet for the 10th gen but go for catback thats made for your car,so if something mechanical goes wrong you can swap stock exhaust and take it the stealership for diagnostic.

chances are TRD subcontracted K&N to make their filters anyways. TRD never makes anything in-house but they do subcontract to reputable companies.

If you already have a KN, just stay with it. I would've waited til the engine was broken in until changing the filter tho. When I had my Jeep, all the offroading guys would say that KN filters let in more contaminants. It lets in more air, but it does let in more dirt too.

I can understand that out on the trails where you are likely to kick up more dust. Shouldn't be so bad on the highways, though. I've had my K&N for over a year and last time I checked, my MAF sensor was still clean.

I have a KN, and I'm not saying they are bad for your engine. I'm just very conservative during the break in period.

I still need a K&N filter after I converted back to the stock air box. Anyone know a place that sells them cheap for the 8th gen?
