K&N intake?!? planning to diy it...

im thinking of adding some extra piping on my current SRI to turn it into the K&N intake that goes to the back of the transmission getting colder air from the small hole back there...is it worthit? i can get a 90 degree elbow pipe and a straight pipe that i can easily cut into size from pepboys thats why im planning on doing it... am i gonna get a descent gain in power?

well for one, I can hear it whisteling to me while on idle (meaning it is sucking air in) second I can feel it pull. third I it sounds a whole lot deeper so I think there is some gain, but probably not that much. I used a 00-02 mini cooper K&N typhoon intake and modified that for the corolla
