    Just received my FilterMag SS250

Well, it came in the mail, free shipping from the ebay seller. I've always heard good things about these. I decided to give it a try. It's reusable too so I can move it to my other car in the future.

    Here's the product site:

I've also heard a few good things about these as well.

If your looking for a high quality reusable filter, I sujest you take a look at this site: http://www.trufilter.com/ I'm currently using one right now and have been for over 6,000 miles now. I paid around $134.00 when they were on sale and the shipping was free from this site: http://www.performanceproducts4truc...ter+oil+filters This thing really does work and I was amazed at how much dirt came out of the filter when I cleaned it, which proved to me that the TRD paper filters, I was paying $13.50 for, weren't doing as good of a job as advertised.

is that the thing that goes in your intake pipe and it's suppose to give you better gas mileage and hp? If so, I purchased one and tried it on my 97 rolla before I did the 3sgte swap and it didn't do crap. But that's not to say it won't work for someone else, even though I think it's one of the biggest gimmicks out there.

it works. it traps the tiniest metal particals that cause the most damage. Your cheap paper filters have a lower pressure bypass valve in them that allows the crap to flow back into your engine, which is happening all the time. have you ever tried to pour engine oil thru a paper media? It doesn't flow thru it very quick and just imagin what it does under pressure.

It's magnetic. It sticks on to the side of the filter.
