yeah, just trim the corners so that they fit inside the grill.

All you do is use the screws and washer it came with and start screwing down the mesh against the plastic housing of the grill. After all the screws are inserted, it should be snug. Make sure you have it lined up straight and have enough room all around before screwing.

After that, you can start trimming the metal mesh. That's the order I did it in but it doesn't matter because if you got it on tight, that's all that matters.

As far as mounting it on the car itself, I notice that the top center part of the Altis grill doesn't fit the metal bracket of the car where the old grill use to be. I left that screw out. It was still a very good fit and perfectly snug.

Removing the stock grill was pretty straightforward. Reomve the top three screws and unclip the sides and bottom. It should come right off with a little effort. Then, just replace the old with the new. Snap it on and screw the two rubber mounts at the top corners. The middle retaining screw like I said before, doesn't line up so I just ignored it.

It took me about a 15 minutes total and it looks awesome. I didn't paint it because I think the black color of the Altis grill goes good with the superwhite paint of my corolla.
