So apparently the story goes like this. (Recently) A 70 year old man named Jesse James Hardy of Florida lived in the Everglades for like all his life. He likes it there cuz of no traffic, no crime, and no people. He lives in a house he built himself and he owns 160 acres of land. However, Florida wanted to buy his land from him to get him to move out. Florida wants to use the land for Everglade preservation or something, i cant remember. After refusing to move out and refusing money, Florida finally used eminent domain to take his property. You may also kno that in order to take away someones property by eminent domain, they must also be fairly compensated.

Jesse James Hardy was given $4.95 million in compensation. He was so screwed over with that deal. An acre of land in Florida costs $50,000 and at 160 acres that equals out to $8 million. But still he barely owned a shack of a house so im sure that $4.95 million wouldnt be so quickly spent. But i dunno how I can say that cuz after he was rewarded his nearly $5 million, he continued to complain cuz he loved where he lived. He now lives in an $800,000 house....................

Wow... still... 5 million dollars would still get you a nice houses...

yeah, that's right... i said houses!
