pretty much anything on ebay today is considered "JDM" by the sellers. they obviously dont know what it means and just put it in to sell.

i think these are diplomatic plates. the us government (assuming the guy is american because of the car) will pay to ship one of your vehicles to your mission country and back at the end of your tour. that explains why such a shitty domestic is in japan!

As long as you take care of any car, it will be fine.

American and European cars usually require a lot of attention. You're lucky to have a good one that came off the line.

To be honest. Its not just mine. Th cobras got a totally diffrent block then the regular GT's. Yes they are both a 4.6 but the GT is Aluminum. The cobra block is made from a stronger four-valve dual-overhead-cam motor with a cast-iron four-bolt-main block, a forged-steel crankshaft, Manley forged H-beam rods with ARP fasteners, and low-compression.

Most aftermarket engine builders will not be able to make a stronger engine. Ford did really good with this engine. I cant say much for the rest of their product line! ;)

Those are standard issue plates... custom numbering sequence, but still not diplomat. Besides, that Chrysler Voyager is not a US model. It's a Japan-spec model, built for the Japanese market.

there USED to be a Toyota Cavalier...but chevy pulled it. they didn't change the name, just the badging...and third gen(phase 1) cavy owners can get badging, kits, and performance parts through TRD if they go through the right channels.
