    JDM headlights question??

I was wondering if anyone who has the JDM headlights could tell me if the black housing makes the light not as bright coming through. obviosly for not driving purposes, although I do have raybrig whitesonic lights for low and high beams, but does it make it darker with the headlights being darker?

Having black surrounds is a cosmetic thing. The actual reflectors are still the same or similar as OEM headlamps. The main difference with JDM's, aside from the darkened surrounds and the absence of the side reflector, is the RHD beam pattern. Cars destined for US distribution have either DOT or harmonized DOT patterns (LHD).
