    IS300 2JZGE block

ive been reading a little into the IS300 i am buying this summer, and im really interested into building my block into the supras 2JZGTE

I know the head is defferent and the cams too, but how much is actually different between the two blocks anyone with 2JZ expirience?

The IS300 is a solid car... my buddy is also looking into one to replace his Corolla.

well im looking to put a single turbo setup on my IS300, im looking to make about 600-650HP, an di know the 2JZGTE from the TT put out 315 just from the block and the 2JZGE non turbo VVT-i from the IS300 only puts down about 215 at the block, i just want to see if this is an engine rebuild i could do myself or if i needed to be changing a lot more of the internals...
