Engine is it ok to be boosting.....

    depend if your internals is built for racing with that much boost.i recommend you rebuilt your engine first b4 boosting your car,especially with that much miles on your car.

    is it ok to be boosting at 180,000 mile? i'm thinking about 5 or 6 psi

    umm more than likely you are going to blow up your engine. the internals are just old.

    running boost on that high a mileage will only accelerate wear and tear but as long as you have good compression between cylinders and the car has been kept up and is in good working order then boost away.

    Keep it low for now and save up for a rebuild of your motor or buy a junk yard block and build it yourself as money permits.

    hehe that's a lil crazy... but it *could* work...

    I boosted mine @ 85K and I'm @ 115K now... almost been boosted a full year now!

    i have 180k on my 4afe i'm boosting 5lbs stock boost.....I need to work on my inter but its ok ....has long has u don't push the car to much......hehehe....

    i'm gotting a fx corolla i'm going to put the 11rpm in it...and by the end of fall it'll be done......my freind is going to sell hte fx corolla for me for 500 wat yalls think?????
