technically it can be called a cat back, because it bolts on to the first flange after the cat. Any true cat back for our car would have to be welded on.

Does Magnaflow have to be welded on then? Or is it just bolt on?
Magnaflow is a true cat back rght?

The Borla is NOT a true catback. True catbacks are exactly that, from the Catalytic converter to the back. The two cats on the rolla are right of the manifold and infront of the resonator and the O2 sensor. If it was true cat back it would need a resonator and a place for the 02 sensor. With that said, it bolts on the flange that is just above the suspension. It looks sweet, but when I got mine in and learned it was not 'catback' I sent it back to them and went with the magnaflow. I then put 2.5 inch from the O2 sensor back. To me, this is the way to go.
