    interior fabric paint

I caught the end of "Hi Rev Tuners" on Speed TV last week and they were talking about how well this stuff worked. They showed a car that had the seats painted(only the middle section of the seat so it was two toned) and it looked tight. Any of you guys have experience with this? Woud be nice to be able to do this instead of buying seat covers.

Here's the link to the manufacturer

Im sure it will look nice, but its a vinyl spray oh fabric, meaning the fabric will harden when it dries. I think it would be too rough for me to sit on, if you wanna check, get an old rag and spray it and see if the texture is something you can tolerate.

    Location:
    Jersey City, NJ
    Opaque finish
    No primer needed
    Dries flexible
Won’t rub off, chip, crack or peel
    Restores color and finish
Ideal for use on interior trim, seats, consoles, floor mats, dash panels, fabric seats and carpeting

it says dries flexible, i'm thinkin its just a sort of polish cuz it mentions vinyl/leather seats, wonder how it would work with cloth seats, also our seats have a pattern and it will be much easier to change the color on the LE and CE cuz the colors are lighter, the S is all black.

I used it on my winter beater car interior, on the door inserts. Works pretty well, doesn't feel too stiff, except one spot where the wind blew and I over-sprayed. Didn't try it on the seats though, just bought covers for those.

It did come off in one area where I had brake fluid on my hand and touched it. But brake fuild will eat any paint, so I wouldn't hold that against it.
