Just before you decide to buy that...have you seen this site?

    http://www.xenondepot.com

I recently purchased their 4300K 9006-conversion kit. It comes with Philips slim Gen 4 Ballasts and Philips capsules (the bulbs) along with the necessary wiring harness. All for $380. Although it's about $120 more than what you have linked to on Ebay, I'm willing to pay that extra for a company like Philips. Plus, that ballast is pretty damn thin.

I haven't heard of that site. Im checking it out now. Thanks!
Yeah phillips is a good brand. Osram has been talked about alot too... they've got two ballasts on ebay for $89 ea. that sounds good doesn't it?

Ok... Now is this just brand loyalty or have people had less problems with Phillips and Osram? Are there any other brands that would be comparable?

IMO, you should get something between 6000k-8000k....they burn blue-er.....4300k its just white....but hey, thats just me...also, dont combine these with aftermarket projectors...ive heard bad stories bout this that after a while the aftermarket headlights begin to melt....kinda strange eh...

Spend a hundred more dollars and buy some projectors off an exotic and retrofit them.

It's all good until I read the part about them using "cleaned and reconditioned ballasts".

Shaun over at www.9thgencorolla.com has HID kits for $250 shipped. I bought a set myself and they are incredible... 1yr warranty, water proof, plug and play. Took me about 10 minutes to install, no cutting.

Just check under the GB section. He has probably sold close to 20 sets in the past 2 months... everyone is happy.

    No projectors, just angel eyes...

    Meh.
I've got to get my house ready for drywall installation, so I'm BUSTING MY A$$ trying to get it ready for next week. :) But after that I should have a little more time.

I'm trying to get light to disperse correctly inside of the ring. I've got another test to do. Hopefully I can do that in the next couple days. If the mass production design doesn't work, depending on how time consuming the other method of production is. I may or may not offer them. I really want to, but if all else fails I can at least give the donor a nice set of custom angel eyes.

    Off topic?

They take ballats and projectors out of wrecked luxury cars and use them for your car. As far as I know, they are the best around for HID/projector retrofitting.
