intake in but engine light shown

the intake seems like its working fine but after about 4 miles after i drive around the engine light just shows for no reason, the performance feels the same, but the engine light it just pops up for no reason i dont understand why, should i worry about it or is it because i have a vacumm leak or os. I checked the intake and it seem to work fine to me.

Make sure all your hose connections were properly re-sealed and that the hoses aren't kinked. Also, since the CEL is on, there's a chance there's a problem with the MAF sensor. Try cleaning it, as well as making sure all the connections are tight. You may have inadvertently broken it in the process as well.

Due to issues with my intake, my purge valve is also malfunctioning. Code P0441. I'm also getting 22 mpg. Damnit....

i've been driving around w/ the same problem and tried to ignore it but it's also still bugging the hell outta me so i put my baby's picture to cover the light for the time being til that thing has been resolved.

    duct tape...it'll fix anything.

make sure all of the seals are really tight and if that's not it check the sensors

That's weird man, I've installed a lot of intakes before and it's never happened to me before, I just installed an Injen SRI on my 98 and it works just fine so I dk check ur fluids, sensors and what not because it might not be the intake causing the problem, might be something else causing the light to come up, might sound stupid but it happens.
