The air temp sensor is located on the MAF sensor. It's the little squarish looking plastic sensor with a 6 or 7(?) wire connector coming from it. Anyhow...the mass air flow sensor and intake air temp sensor are both integrated into that little device. Different intakes mount it in different spots. My AEM CAI mounts it on the side of the pipe, nearest the firewall (rear).

turn the key to on (engine off) backprobe the wires with a T-pin and measure the voltage at each wire. if you're doing this at about room temperature, the IAT wire should be the one between 3V and 4V. I can check the electric wiring diag. for you this week if you want. what do you need this info for?

    Me too please

I'd like to know which wires they are too.
I bought the resister that produces 20 HP too, and I can't figure out from the instructions or the pictures where the IAT sensor is either.
I have an '04 with the TRD CAI, and all the plugs going anywhere near the air intake stream have at least three wires attached, the directions say I should be looking for a connector with just two.
The EBAY seller was of little use, as he doesn't know where it's located on an '04 Corolla.

So if you know, I sure would appreciate a helping hand here.

its a waste of time that resistor doesn do anything.

Actually, it does do something. The thermistor that measures IAT increases resistance the colder it is and the warmer it is, the lower the resistance. So, adding a resistor in effect, makes the computer think the air coming in is colder. So, to compensate, it injects more fuel giving a richer mixture. In terms of power...probably negligible. In terms of longevity, lots shorter. Rich mixture means gasoline dissolving in the engine oil, fouled spark plugs and misfires...that's bad. What resistance are these resistors??
