    K&N filter number

hey just getting back to your question

K&N have a new filter called the X-Stream filter. the tyoon is the intake system.

the filter that i brought is a little bigger than the one INJEN provided. the part number RU-4450.

there is a X-stream filter with the similar size. is it 6 in base dia. 5 in top dia and 5.5 inches in lenght. the part number is RX-4960.

INJEN did not recommand a bigger filter due to the MAF sensor but u can always put the pre-filter by K&N to slow down the air flow and it will also keep your filter clean.

with the filter that i ordered is very smiliar to sizes that i dont need the pre-filter trick but i did get a heat/dust shield for the filter.

check it out for more detail on the filter go to www.knfilter.com

let me know how your car turn out.

    thanks

Very nice. How much did it cost you? Does the intake make that loud 'sucking-of-air' sound??

yeah i was talkin about the X-Stream filter
i didnt remember the name of it so i didnt mention it lol
i remembered it had this open top design
so the X-Stream filter's size is similar to AEM/ Injen's?
i might try it next time when my AEM filter is all dirty
