    Inmate dies in jail...

    http://www.nbc4.com/news/16756016/detail.html?dl=mainclick

This story has made national headlines. A kid hits a cop with a stolen pickup truck and the officer dies. They arrest the kid and bring him to jail. Hours later he is found dead in his cell after they just checked on him 15-20min before.

Just the other day I was listening to a local radio station and people were calling in saying the police killed the kid, yet there was no evidence of that just yet.

Then yesterday they announce the kid was killed while in solitary confinement and he had 2 broken neck bones. There were only a few officers who had access to him. Now the officers do not want to cooperate with the investigation and they all hired lawyers. They are also in danger of losing their jobs if they do not cooperate.

I hate when people jump the gun to point fingers but then its disheartening to know that the cops had something to do with it. They say a cop may not have killed the person but they let the killer in. If this is true, it'll be a major blow to PG County.

A kid hits and kills a cop with a stolen pickup truck? Something tells me this kid deserves what he got. Cruel yes, but one ill turn deserves another.

Well, on other boards that have been discussing this, some see no difference between the two.

There's a big difference between those two here in Memphis. Our corrections deputies are only slightly less criminal than those they corral in prison, lol. They also turncoat officers at every opportunity.
