actually after a while, they turn really white. I can't see a hint of blue in them. I got them off e-bay since the price was about the same for the Bi-Xenons. They are just blue when you first turn them on but after a minute it turns white.

lol I know I was trying to screw the screw in but the drill ran out of power so I had to leave it like that till I got it recharged but it's all good now.

The HID is Mcculloch 8000K H4 Bi-Xenon so I don't lose my high beams. I paid 330 on ebay which is pretty much the same if not the cheapest I've seen so far for Bi-Xenon

yeh 8000k is blue and already leanin towards purple, if u got 10000k it would be straight out purple....7000k is optimal for a blue tint

ok do you see the pic where the balasts are installed? Well if you pop your hood and look in the gap between the radiator and the front bumper, on the side just below the headlights, you will see a perfect space for the balasts. I'll try to take some pic sometime tomorrow when I get a chance.

asn13oy....mounting it over there looks kinda dangerous cuz lots of water gets over there, all ur wires are exposed to water everytime it rains, when you wash your car, snow, etc. you need to mount it somewhere that it doesnt get in contact with any of that stuff, which is usually inside the engine bay. for me, i mounted mine one behind the wazher fluid tank, and one i stuffed between the battery and the fender.

no. that is mounted behind your bumper. If you look further to the side you will see where the bumper is attached to the frame I think. just under the headlights. That is where I mounted mine.

When I first installed the HID's I said that same thing.

"I temporarily mounted the ballasts behind the front bumper, on the beam. I know it's not the greatest place in terms of water protection but, damn have you have tried to find a place to put those things? It's difficult to find a flat area. Knowing me I'll probably forget and just leave it there"

That's exactly what I did, I left them there...

Before I take another 2 hours or so to relocate the ballasts, is there any way I can cover them up to help seal them up from the weather?
