Engine I need help with 2008 Corolla engine swap

    I need help with 2008 Corolla engine swap

    So, I need a little help.... My brothers engine had hydrolock during a pretty bad flood threw the CAI... So we did an engine swap same exact engine 1ZZFE vvti ... SO now when we finally get the car started it starts fine but it will not go into gears... Its stiff and no gears go in 1st thru 5th not even reverse ... Does anyone know why this may had happen ? Any clue on how to fix it... We will return tomorrow to work on the car but any help would be great ..Thanks

    check the linkage... sounds u got they stuck or not positioned right...also fluid... did u drain the tranny fluid??

    Yeah we did drain the tranny fluid but also bought the fluid with the tube and refill it once we were done..... Thanks will need the luck let me see what happens tomorrow..
