I Need A Front Engine Mount!!

The front engine mount on my '95 Prizm has been shredded to pieces. This is the engine mount that bolts underneath the motor to the bottom crossmember. The engine mount has a big bushing designed in conjuction and I need to either replace the bushing or the whole mount. Does anyone know anything about this engine mount? I need to find out where I can buy one of these and for how much. Thanks for the info. Prizmatic

well I got a front engine mount from autozone for 45.00 bucks, but unfortunately the day and a half of driving with the mount ripped to shreds, caused my passenger side drive axle to bend out of shape!! Dammit! Anyways now I have to get a new drive axle before I ruin my new tires. Anyway, does anyone know of any companies that make a performance driven axle shaft for the 93-97 Prizm/Corolla.

Check the front and rear mounts both. The mount you're talking about - is it the one in the front just behind the radiator? A bad rear mount could cause this, as one bad one puts twice the strain on all the rest.

something else is wrong..... the E series trannies don't even use lower center mounts in neither the aw11 or the ae92/ae101... and the 4agze has to get a lot more power to the ground than a 4/7afe..... also, none of the mr2's (using c50/c52... same trannies essentially that's in your prizm) used crossmembers at all like the ones that a FWD car uses, and has more stresses put on them.....
