I had an Interstate that last exactly 3 years and then died. (could have been a 1 time problem I have always liked Interstate though)

I had a Duralast that EXPLODED once on my 91 Prizm, ( Auto-Zone ) But to tell the truth I replaced it with another Duralast.

Sears Die-Hard brand is good but a little more $$

Get one from a local store with a good warranty, I here they are like oil filters (and everything else) with just a few actual manufacturers.

You may not want it, but Optimas are the best.

maybe he doesnt have the system to warrant such a high performance battery!
maybe he wants to save money too!

damn, i know my system crushes the shit out of my battery, but i just turn on my car if im gonna be listening to tunes for a while. just because i'm too poor to pay for an optima if i can get 2 regular batteries for the price of it..

interstate has treated me well, it's a 5 year battery.

cw: also if the charge ever goes all the way down to 0, the battery's effective life is reduced by half.
