Engine I have a question about a paseo

    I have a question about a paseo

    I know this is a corolla forum but I have a question about a Paseo. I was just wondering if there is enough room in the engine compartment to put a used corolla engine and transmission in it or even a used echo engine or transmission in it? Just curious anyway.

    Well the engine and tranny could fit inside, but why would you go through the trouble. You would have to change the mounting points and re-wire the ECU.

    i don't know much about the paseo, but it's essentially a tercel, right?

    if so, should be a fairly easy swap, though it obviously depends on the year, and what engine u currently have in there.


    edit: i think paseo's had a 5afe, no?

    If the Paseo's had an "A" series engine, then it should drop easily, if it doesn't, you're just asking for more trouble.
