I get a little bit of knock when starting from a standstill...

I have a SRI and a Catback, so I assume those are killing my low end torque, maybe in addition to making the car run a little lean. What can I do to find out what the real problem might be?

    Haha, I love it...

Run higher octane fuel. Has it been like this ever since the mods were done or does it come and go every once in a while?

It only happens when I let the clutch out quickly when starting from a stand still.

At first I thought my clutch was just really picky, but now it seems like there's almost no smooth way to let my clutch out without slipping it a little bit. Basically, my methods of starting from a standstill are:

    1) slipping the clutch slightly
    2) letting the cluch out quickly and having the car buck/shake until I give it more gas
    3) letting the cluch out and giving it a little gas at the same time, resulting in what sounds like knocking.

It's probably hard to diagnose from this discription, but it's a pain in the ass sometimes.

sounds to me like you're just letting the clutch out too quickly and not giving enough gas - if it's only doin it in 1st. When i was (regrettably) teaching my friend to drive stick with my own car (never do that again) she somehow managed to make my engine knock numerous times. I've never personally been able to replicate what she did, nor would I want to try. But that's what it sounds like to me.
