I am thinking about using "Waxmaster". Please giv

    Hi, all
I got my car back in June this year, and I noticed that the surface (hood, body, door, trunk) is rough on tough. I wash my car every other week and use a camino leather to dry it. I think little dust or dirt rolled all over the body and scraped the clear coat a bit. That's why it feels rough on touch. So, I got this product called "Waxmaster". It's basically a device that has 7 inch flat disk that spins at 2400RPM. You put a specified polishing cloth on it and apply it to the car body. It says the machine does not burn the paint, but I dunno. It says, "Make your car shiny like a show model". Hmmm. here is the linkhttp://www.nealsharbor.com/waxmaster.html to the product I am talking about. Does it really make it shiny? or does it mess up the paint? Actually, I don't even know how to use the darn thing. I appreciate your input.

What feels rough is probably oxidation of the surface of your paint. If you get some polishing compound, use a liquid, you can probably rub it out. Then you would use a glaze compound and then a final coat of wax. Meguir's makes a complete line of these products. Your need to be carful with any kind of power buffer. If you rub it over a corner or body line you can rub right though the paint. It can happen very quickly so you would need to be careful to avoid these areas. You may be able to use it on the flat areas, but use caution. Hope that helps.

my car had some paint splatter all over it so i got one of those clay bars. I used it to try and get the paint off and that kinda worked. But then one day i noticed that my back end of my car had a rough touch to it so i used the clay bar in it there. When i was done the spot that i just cleaned was soo smooth it was awesome. I'd recommend that.

    Heres a link.
