It won't matter. It will dampen the noise no matter what.

    Hushpower 2 resonator?

    has anyone used this?
i used the vibrant resonator and it didnt dampen my trd muffler that much (with custom cat-back exhaust piping 2.25"). I guess because the vibrant resonator is a straight-through design to minimize restriction. the only thing it got rid of is the popping plastic rice sound which im glad is gone now.

so now i just ordered these

i got it for $80 shipped and as you can see, its got restriction and i'm hoping it will dampen the sound a lot more. I'm curious, does it matter where in the exhaust piping i place this resonator at? currently, i have the vibrant resonator about a foot after the cat converter. should i put this hushpower resonator closer to the muffler?
if you're too lazy to look up vibrant resonator, it looks like this:

    input please

Put your stock pipe back on. That will quiet it down a LOT and give you back MPG. Better for the environment too.

Cover that with your mouth and try yelling through it and see if you can hear anything. haha That's what the guy at the muffler shop did to demonstrate how well it worked. :D

so i installed it and its gotten noticeably quieter, unlike the free-flow resonator. i'd say it's def worth the money and on top of that, i found a place nearby to do my manual tranny swap :)
