right now i am here at my house doing a little bit of hurrican preparedness due to this stupid hurricane. i am not really worried because all we will get a moderate winds and a crapload of rain and possible tornadoes.Right now its a Category 2 and will be a 3 by the time it makes landfall. the good thing is my house is up very high and has storm windows all around which were installed last year. I went an helped out relatives and co-workers putting up boards and cleaning up before the winds come. I am just writing becausei am very bored right now and for those of you who have been in a hurricane recently what are some tips i could use besides water and a few food items. Filling up the gas tank a while a go because the county will close them later this evening. and it came out to 48 bucks and change. my dads truck came out to 35. any advice and tips would be helpful thanks Ruben.

yeah but we got a generator in the back next to the electric control box it automatically turns on and can stay on for 5 days powering the entire house including the fridge but not the washer or dryer. and everything else is gas so its cool. the house was re-modeled last year so these are some of the new features it has. it may look like crap on the outside but the inside and electronic and water systems have been comepletely redone. with new materials and technology

I really just didnt want it to scrap the gulf coastal states cuz of all the freakin rigs, reserves, and refineries around there...i was actually kinda surprised that prices here went down 4 cents today...

gas here has gone down only but a cent and are still high ranging from 2.05 to 2.60 a gallon for regular.

hmm...thats usual if its only a cent for u guys....it went from 2.19 to 2.15 this morning...

Ive been between $2.30 and $2.40 lately

eh I've been with my gas light on for 3 days now lol so no gas till the 29th for me lol, luckily I don't work far

When Cindy came, the gas price here skyrocketed. It went up by atleast 10 cents.

for those of who have the weather channel will see South Padre Island and if you watch were McAllen, TX is the of Pharr where i live in is about 3 miles east of there so you pretty ,much know where i live. All hell has broke loose here and my mom's stupid car is on empty and the gas stations are closed the nearest one open is on the other side of town.
