    Doh! Yup, definitely need to replace that. It probably would still hold, but why even bother and risk it for a $30 belt.

    What caused that groove to be cut into the belt - something got stuck on the pulley? Make sure you clean the pulleys before you slap a new belt back on there.

    after a closer inspection, you should also check the tensioner under the alternator.. look like that thing is scoring the belt! it's supposed to be perfectly smooth.
